Reshapers Delivers First Emotional Change Strategy Certification in Curaçao to Sold-Out Cohort

WILLEMSTAD, CURAÇAO — March 5, 2026 — Reshapers, the Dutch Caribbean's leading transformation consultancy, successfully delivered the first cohort of its Emotional Change Strategy (ECS) Certification on March 5, 2026. The inaugural session brought together HR managers, change leaders, and entrepreneurs from government and private sector organizations across Curaçao. Both March public cohorts are sold out.

The Emotional Change Strategy Certification is a one-day program built on a premise most change programs skip: before leaders can design a strategy for others, they need to understand how change feels, for themselves first, then for the people they lead. Participants leave certified and equipped to build change strategies that account for the emotional experience of the people living through them.

"Most organizations assume resistance is a communication problem," said Daniël Corsen, Chief Reshaper and Co-founder of Reshapers. "So they communicate more. They explain the why one more time. But what most people actually carry into change, and almost never say out loud, is a feeling of powerlessness. That this is happening to them. That no one is asking how they feel. When you create the space to ask that question, the energy in the room shifts completely."

That shift was evident on March 5. Participants moved beyond theoretical frameworks to share personal change experiences, creating a depth of connection and candor rarely found in professional development settings. Participant feedback reflected the impact, with one attendee describing the experience as "liberating to see that others shared the same experiences and emotions."

The program is built on the Emotional Culture Deck methodology by Riders & Elephants, a globally recognized facilitation tool that makes it safe for people to talk about feelings at work. Reshapers is a certified practitioner of the methodology.

Corsen, who chairs the World Scouting Committee in addition to leading Reshapers, drew on his own experience of navigating significant personal change when facilitating the session. "I wasn't going to ask participants to do something I wasn't willing to do myself. The work only lands when the facilitator goes first."
