When Curoil approached us with a special request for Dia di Obrero, they wanted something different. Something that would not only show appreciation for their employees but also highlight their 40th anniversary in a way that truly connected everyone, to each other and to the company they have been building together for decades.
The result was a custom-designed game night at Brakkeput Mei Mei that blended Catalyst team-building activities, tailor-made games, and a touch of nostalgic fun into one unforgettable evening.
We kicked things off with a quiz packed with insights and milestones from Curoil’s 40-year journey. As the first points were scored, the energy in the room shifted. Friendly competition took hold, and teams leaned in, determined to represent their colleagues and their department with pride.
From there, the competition moved to a Curoil-themed twist on Pictionary, sparking bursts of laughter as teams raced to guess drawings inspired by the company’s history, products, and achievements. Then it was time for Squad Game, where strategic thinking, teamwork, and quick reactions came into play. Finally, we closed the night with a trusted classic that needs no introduction: stoelendans (musical chairs). In those final moments, the space was filled with laughter, cheers, and the kind of lighthearted competitiveness that brings out everyone’s inner child.
Every element of the evening, from the branding and event design to the custom game development and facilitation, was created to reflect Curoil’s spirit and milestones. Just a few weeks later, we recreated the entire experience for their team in Bonaire, ensuring that all employees could share in the celebration.
It was more than just a company party. It was a night of connection, appreciation, and memories that will carry forward into the next chapter of Curoil’s story. A true example of how tailored team-building experiences can unite people, honour achievements, and strengthen bonds across the company.

Getting to the World Cup took determination. Fans flew in on routes through Aruba, Bonaire, Colombia, Panama and beyond, connections that stretched 15, 20, even 36 hours, all to reach Houston, Kansas City and Philadelphia. Others turned it into a road trip instead, driving as far as they had to once they landed in the US. Every route led to the same place: wherever Curaçao played. There is always a way to reach where you want to be. Determination, focus and efficiency get you there.
