Building Identity from Day One
First brand identity for a new national institution
Legacy of both foundations honored
Clear voice from day one
The Question
NTIC was born from the merger of two government foundations. A new institution carrying the weight of language preservation for an entire island. They needed to establish who they were from scratch. Not a rebrand. A first brand. An identity that honored the legacy of both founding organizations while signaling something new.
The Impact
We helped NTIC define itself from the ground up. What does a language institute stand for? How should it sound? Who does it serve and how does it invite them in? We built a brand and communication strategy that balances institutional credibility with cultural warmth. NTIC launched with a clear voice and a foundation to build on.
The Learning
Mergers create identity questions that cannot be rushed. New institutions need space to discover who they are before they can communicate it. When you're building from scratch, every early decision shapes what comes next. Get the foundation right and everything else follows.
